WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Our program goes beyond physical training. Through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, students develop essential life skills that help them grow into confident, disciplined, and compassionate individuals. Ages 5 to 12 train together, and during drill work and partner activities students are strictly paired by age, weight, and skill level.

Body Mechanics & Movement

Breakfalls, which is learning how to fall safely without injury, plus base, posture, spatial awareness, and agility.

Positional Control

Understanding how to safely control distance, maintain top control such as mount and side control, and defend from the bottom with guard retention.

Game-Based Drills

Concepts are taught through dynamic mini-games that focus on problem-solving, leverage, and balance rather than brute force.

Team-Building

End-of-class group games reinforce cooperation, communication, and mutual respect.

Self-Defense & Boundaries

A strong voice and clear verbal boundaries first, stop and back off, then stepping away. Telling a teacher, coach, or parent is a sign of awareness, not weakness. Physical defense is a last resort, and it is distance control and non-striking control holds only.

Character Building

Respect, integrity, and humility through the traditions and philosophy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, plus the focus and resilience that stripes and promotions are actually earned with.
