WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING/WEAR?

Water is always great to have and there will be breaks throughout the class.  Wear moveable clothes, the less baggy the better.

WHAT IS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on ground fighting and grappling techniques. BJJ emphasizes the use of leverage and technique to overcome larger and stronger opponents, making it suitable for people of all sizes and ages.  There is no striking/hitting/kicking in BJJ.

HOW WILL BJJ HELP MY CHILD AGAINST BULLIES?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches kids how to defend themselves against bullying without using strikes, by focusing on techniques that allow them to control and neutralize their opponent, promoting confidence and non-violent conflict resolution.
